01 Food For Thought
All instruments Elton Deda

-----
The greatest threat historically, to mankind and society
The doomsday deal that seals our fate, is the food put on our plate
Come on, come on, come on, think for yourself be strong
There is so much to be done, come on, come on, come on, come on

What passes for the food we eat, twinkies and the mystery meat
Is sold to us by an industry, whose goal is profitability
Come on (x3), don’t be fooled by these chumps
They’re selling us lots of junk, come on (x4)

It’s getting worse now ev’ryday, apparently we’ve lost our way
Confusion reigns but don’t lose sight, we’ll figure out what’s wrong and right
Come on (x3), listen up and gather round, the time for change has begun Come on (x4)

Big business rules we all can see, so take responsibility
For your health for how you feel, cause what you eat is a big deal
Come on (x3), break from the crowd and run
Time to shine, be the one, come on (x4)

The factory farms and slaughterhouse, that you support with your fork and mouth
Can be rendered obsolete, from the food you buy and eat
Come on (x3), the power’s yours the time has come
To set the bar high for once, Come on(x4)

Life’s a journey we’re all on board, what we reap is what we sow
Take the time see this thing through, the choice you make is up to you

I hope that you’ve learned from this song, the time has come to right a wrong
The food you buy put on your plate, needs to change before it’s too late
Come on (x3) Don’t give up before you’ve begun, make the change then you’re done Come on (x4)

02 All Fear and Anger
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda

-----
I heard him on the radio, at first I thought it was a joke
He was talkin trash and kickin ass, all in stereo
It seems he had a lot to say, in a pompous and bombastic way
Found his point of view, all askew, with so little in the way of truth

Soon I found that he was all the rage
Like some wise and holy reverent sage
How this could be so, I didn’t know, he’s just an actor on a stage
Sees himself as all red, white and blue, touting policies for me and you
That slam the working class, cause this jack ass plainly
Doesn’t have a clue

(chorus) (A)
And he’s all, he’s always shouting, and he’s all, he’s always mad
And he’s all, he’s always pouting, about something he feels is bad
   (B)
And it’s all, all fear and anger, and it’s all, part of the show
And it’s all, some right wing agenda
That hurt people he don’t even know

(solo)
My advice to those who care to know
When you’re listening to the radio
And you hear his voice, you’ve got a choice
That’s the time when you should just say no
No to all the hate he spreads, after all he’s just talking head
And it’s kind of sick, he’s gotten rich
With all the stupid things he’s done and said

(chorus A)
I think he should know, what we do and say
Is a seed that grows ev’ryday
Perhaps what he should do, is walk a mile in others shoes
Cause when I see the damage that he’s done
It’s gettin uglier for everyone
(chorus B)

03 McFlabby
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda

-----
If your down and out and feelin blue
Here’s a little tip now here’s what you should do
Find golden arches and just pull right in
Within 2 minutes you’ll be feelin thin

The clientele so big it’s just unreal
Like a supermodel is how you’ll now feel
The food they serve here is so full of fat
Unfit to feed even your dog or cat

(chorus)
Just walk into a Mickey D’s, burger for you and burger for me
Soda pop to wash down the grease, burger for you and burger for me
So bright and shiny such a friendly place
Get your change back from a smiling face
Like apple pie and Chevrolet, we supersize and gain more weight

Take a look around here’s what you’ll see
It’s what they call morbid obesity
If you’re worried about a pound or 2
Think what 200 pounds or more can do

My heart goes out to those with this affliction
What’s been called a fast food addiction
It’s a fast food junkies plight
Getting bigger each and every bite
(chorus x2)

04 Watch It Grow
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda

-----
Well the house is torn down and we’re plantin the ground with seeds
Once a city block is now cleared of the rocks and we’re pullin the weeds

Watch it grow, with the rain and the soil and the sun
Watch it grow and the food that will feed ev’ryone
Watchin our garden grow

Got our hands in the dirt doin the work for free
With the sun on our face in this beautiful place, the place to be

Watch it grow, with the rain and the soil and the sun
Watch it grow and the food that will feed ev’ryone
Watchin our garden grow, nature’s putting on a show

Doo doo doo doo do, doo doo doo doo do doo doo doo doo doo
Hoeing that long row, watchin our plants grow
Reaping what we, what we sow, oww, oww, oww, oww

The seeds they sprout and start taking root
They will become a plant with a fruit
Next thing we know, we’ve grown our own food, me and you

Watch it grow, with the rain and the soil and the sun
The miracle of life, it’s all in our hands
The miracle of life, when seeds turn to plants

Watch it grow, with the rain and the soil and the sun
Watch it grow and the food that will feed ev’ryone
Watchin our garden grow, nature’s putting on a show

Doo doo doo doo do, doo doo doo doo do doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo do, doo doo doo doo do doo doo doo doo doo

05 Something Real
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda
Back up vocals Dolinar Spahija and Jim Marconi

-----
Come along and take a walk with me
See how I’m to feed my family
A Burger King a KFC and more
Let’s not forget the small convenient store

Where there are many items on the shelf
All packaged and preserved with nothing else
No vegetables, no fruit there’s nothing green
No food that’s still alive that can be seen

(chorus)
Something real, that I can feed my family
Something real, here nothing can be found
Something real, more than burgers, fries and candy
Something that takes root and grows up from the ground

Something real, that I can feed my family
Something real, here nothing can be found
Something real, more than burgers, fries and candy
Something that takes root and grows up from the ground

You shake your head, you say how can this be true
In the land of the red, white and blue
Jump in my car I’ll drive you to a store
Where there’s fresh fruit, vegetables and more

Ah but you see, not ev’ryone has a car to drive
Or access to food that is still alive
A food desert that breeds so much disease
Just another face of poverty
(chorus)
-----

06 In the Name of Greed
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda

-----
How, how would we know
That they’ve spliced and diced the seeds, the seeds that grow
Food, the food on your plate
We’ve got to stop Mansanto Inc. before it’s too late
It’s all polish and shine, they’ll say everything’s fine

Now, they’ve got the clout
How to spin their web of lies, it’s all figured out
Stop saying you’ll feed the poor
When it’s profit that you want and then you want more
Now our time is to shine
Take back what yours and what’s mine
(chorus)
The time for truth is here, the use of GMO”s are wrong
Let’s get our selves in gear, this has gone on for too long
A crime against humanity, all done in the name of greed
Open your eyes and see, what’s all done in the name of greed

Now it’s up to you
You got to think before you buy, you buy your food
Food, the food on your plate
We’ve got to stop Mansanto Inc. before it’s too late
Now our time is to shine
Take back what’s yours and what’s mine
(chorus x2)

07 Be There
Guitar by Dolinar Spahija

-----
Such a tragedy, blind to poverty, there for all to see
Lost souls, caught in the web of a cycle of greed
Don't be afraid, take a part a role to play, hard to believe
The more things change, they just stay the same
They just stay the same

Truth is but some shades of gray, no absolutes to pave the way
One must read between the lines, it’s all about I me me mine
Peso, dollar the English pound, makes this crazy world go around
Freedom, peace and liberty, depends on geography
Come on, come on, come on, think for yourself be strong
Speak out when something’s wrong, come on, come on, come on come on

Feel the misery, no more empathy, such a travesty
Be there, bear witness to the scenes of history
Don't turn away, take a part a role to play, hard to believe
The more things change, they just stay the same
They just stay the same

Who is wrong and who is right, comes down to who wins the fight
So many heads stuck in the sand, it’s not so hard to understand
Won't be found up on the shelf, look inside your inner self
Starting up right here and now, spread the word to all somehow
Come on, come on, come on, envision the world as one
There is so much to be done, come on, come on, come on, come on

Come on, come on, come on, think for yourself be strong
Speak out when something’s wrong, come on, come on, come on come on
-----

08 Don't Need to be Shown
Guitar solos Curtis Leonard
All other instruments Elton Deda

-----
It’s all around us got us frightened of each other
The sky is falling tell your sisters and your brothers
Go spread the fear and grab your gun and run for cover
Just like a cancer spreading in from the border

It’s the talking fools year after year
As they spin their web of hate and fear
Seems like anymore that’s all you hear

But don’t get down, don’t ever let them bring you down

It’s time to rise above the noise and all the clutter
Just what’s the truth is up to you to discover

They confrontate, raging mad, can’t you feel the hate
Ideals gone bad, instigate, it’s just all so sad
They’ve got the clout, be afraid, what’s it all about
It’s up to you, hear them shout, who even knows what’s true

Don’t need to be shown what’s wrong or right
Don’t need to be guided to the light
Cause we can see clearly what’s in sight

Don’t need to be shown what’s wrong or right
Don’t need to be guided to the light
Cause we can see clearly what’s in sight

Don’t need to be shown what’s wrong or right
Don’t need to be guided to the light
Cause we can see clearly what’s in sight

09 Everywhere And All The Time
All instruments Elton Deda

-----
What’s that they’ve done now to your park bench
Your baseball cap and ballpoint pen
Renamed your stadium and it’s all for
The pitch to sell that has no end
It’s everywhere and all the time now
Gotcha buyin something somehow

They’re selling drugs right on your tv
Just self prescribe it’s worth a try
They got you covered for your next meal
Something fried and supersized
It’s everywhere and all the time now
Gotcha buyin something somehow

I want my abs tight and my front teeth white,
My kitchen floor’s now so bright
This car will go fast, that one will save gas
Time for a new Cadillac
Lose weight and be thin, cream to fix old skin,
Cure erectile dysfunction

The tune we hear so constantly making us believe
That it’s such a deal. Yea right such a deal

Got clothes for kids going back to school and soda pop to drink that will make them cool. So cool at school

Just today here’s what we’ll do for you we’ll give you 2 for 1 we’ll throw in shipping too. Free shipping if you call in the next 10 minutes

The song we hear so clear and sweet you just gotta beware of that melody. That sweet melody

10 What's For Lunch Song
Piano Mario Romano

-----
I wanna tell you all a story that is seldom told
About the food you eat that comes from animals
Talking bout your burgers, chops, your chicken wings
Milk and yogurt, cheese and all those creamy things
It’s the what’s for lunch song what’s up for dinner and brunch song

You were told to eat your meat It’s good for you
And now I come along and tell you it’s not true
That slab of meat that’s on your plate’s a toxic waste
But you just like to barbeque and love the taste.
It’s the what to eat song, junk food and mystery meat song

Solo

These creatures that get slaughtered each and ev’ry day
It hurts the mother earth and us in many ways
Physically, ethically and ecologically
Looks to me like organized insanity
It’s the use your brain song, before it is too late song

Big business rules in our schools now that’s a fact
It doesn’t pay to find a way to clean up our act
Eatin’ meat and drinkiin’ milk 3 times a day
It isn’t good for you but for them it pays
It’s the what to do song, cause what I say is all true song

You probably wouldn’t like it if I ate your pet
The torture and abuse would leave you upset
So try to think of animals as family
And maybe we can stop this inhumanity
It’s the what’s for lunch song what’s up for dinner and, what’s for lunch song what’s up for dinner and, what’s for lunch song what’s up for dinner and brunch song
