About Jim Marconi
Welcome to the musical adventure of Jim Marconi, where the songwriting talents of Jim Marconi combine with the Great American Songbook to provide a unique and enjoyable listening experience. With an inventory of over 200 songs their repertoire ranges from the 1920’s to the present. Jim Marconi began his musical odyssey in 1998 at the age of 44. He began and still continues vocal training at Baldwin Wallace College with Norma Codispoti. In 2001 Jim began writing songs. This experience has given him a greater appreciation for the songwriting craft. Jim began performing The Great American Songbook with Mario Romano in 2002, building an extensive song list, bio’s and anecdotal stories to go with the great songs he sings. Jim’s passion for the art of both singing and songwriting is evident in his handling of his own and other songwriters material. Mario Romano began his formal training on the piano at the Cleveland Institute of Music at the age of six. He continued his training at the College of Wooster and is still playing now forty years later. Mario brings a vast amount of knowledge and enthusiasm for The Great American Songbook to center stage. His love of music is apparent whenever he sits in front of a piano. |
